Privacy notice
iPhone app privacy
Auto One Page requires no account and includes no advertising or third-party behavioral analytics SDK. Language, bookmarks, font size and reading position are stored on your device. Downloaded articles are cached for offline reading. Deleting the app removes its local data.
To refresh articles, the app requests content over HTTPS from autoday2048.com. Server operational logs may record IP addresses, request times and client information for operation and troubleshooting. The app does not upload bookmarks, font preferences or reading positions. Opening the website, its like feature or an external source is subject to the relevant website privacy notice. The website analytics and like feature are described below.
We use self-hosted Umami analytics to understand which articles readers value and improve the reading experience. Collection began on September 17, 2026; earlier visits are not included.
What we collect
Page views, visit times, referrers, browser and device types, reading depth, share-button clicks and source-link clicks. A share click does not establish a completed share, and reaching the end does not establish attentive reading.
Analytics requests provide an IP address to our server for anonymous visitor statistics and approximate location. Umami does not retain the raw IP as a visitor field; server operation logs may separately record IP addresses. We do not record sessions or keystrokes, require reader registration, or use cookies as analytics identifiers.
Likes
Liking an article uses an essential first-party browser cookie, valid for up to one year. The server stores keyed hashes of the browser identifier and network/browser information to reduce repeat likes; the likes database does not store raw IP addresses. Both language editions share a count. Clearing cookies may not permit a second like; readers with the same network and browser information may occasionally be treated as one reader.
Turn off analytics on this browser
This setting applies to the current domain and browser. Clearing browser storage removes the preference. It stops future analytics, not previously aggregated data, and does not disable the separate like feature.
Comments and moderation
No registration is required. Nicknames, comment text, submission times and editorial replies are stored on this server. Every comment is reviewed before publication; the website languages and App share discussions. Guest identities are not verified. Do not submit sensitive information or impersonate others.
Your nickname is stored in your browser. An essential device cookie lasts up to one year. Rate limits use HMAC digests of device identifiers and IP addresses; the comment database does not store raw IPs. Rate-limit and duplicate digests are retained for approximately 24 hours. Server access logs may contain IP addresses. Analytics opt-out does not disable these essential functions.
Unreviewed comments expire after 30 days. Published comments remain until editorial deletion, which removes the text and reply; same-server backups are retained for up to 14 days. To request removal, submit a private moderation request on the same story identifying the original comment by reference number or nickname and date. Requests are reviewed before action and are not published. Clear browser site data to remove the saved nickname. Editorial replies are distinctly labeled.
